I would have liked to have a booth, but I only have an Iron Man #177 cgc 9.8 and an annual #5 cgc 9.8 Does anyone even collect these? Maybe tomorrow I will have some more slabs so I can have a booth.

Got beat by two seconds on a book according to seller meh
:sorry:
I got the same line used on me "2 seconds" :censored:

Frustrating, I had spent the last hour getting my computer as close to cgc's time as possible and hit it the second 6pm came up.

You make it sound as though my sale of the WW199 wasn't on the up and up. Having fielded FIVE pm's laying claim to the book in the first 15 minutes of the VCC, I can assure you that yours was the second pm I received with a listed time of 6:00 EDT.

I seriously underpriced the book, obviously...

So far, been pretty good for me... made sales on over half my books in the first few minutes.

As far as the 'someone beat you by 2 seconds...', I can honestly say that happened at my booth... one buyer squeaked in right before another. The server must have seen a spike at 6:00:01!

We need to get the word out to get new blood in here... (So that means that yeah.. some new buyers might be unknown.)

Think we should try listing these things on http://www.comicbookconventions.com ?

What does everyone think?

Keep it in-house with the current memberbase, or try to reach out to new collectors more aggressively? hm

It wouldn't hurt to try -- the only thing is that they'd need to register here first. And of course as long as they don't end up stiffing a lot of people on purchases I'm sure the traffic would be welcome.

who said that? If I thought it was rigged, I would have listed the seller and book and called foul, sheesh.

It would be a good idea. It does introduce some risk, but some of the books here just won't be touched by the average underpriced slab hunter here. lol

I think getting new blood in here is a good idea. (thumbs u More people=more chances for sales. I see the potential for bad selling experiences, but I feel it's worth the risk. Just don't ship until you're paid.

Pretty easy to do on everyone's part...

The New person pays with PP, you mark it sold...until payment is made the book is still available. Obviously anyone that just registers today and has less than 10 posts would be a concern, but looking at it this way, you are protected and make sure to use Delivery Confirmation!

VCC is underway and I must tip my hat to everyone who set up a booth. :applause:

That's a lot of work for some of you with all those scans/pics and descriptions. I missed the last VCC, but this one appears to be a pretty good turnout in terms of number of sellers. Lots of great stuff being sold. (thumbs u

Hi Pirate,

Ready for mid-ohio? I'm thinking of a Feedback signature.

I'll start gearing up for that after baltimore. If feedback is there I'll do it, was nothing out last year.
