HA designated it one of the rarest MLJ's...

 

Probably true - it's the only copy of Pep 11 that I've personally ever seen.

 

I'm sure you see this book on my want list in my signature line.

You may be interested in this book, as well - I bought this in a Blue label non-descript slab and it was a pleasant surprise when I cracked it out to learn it is a Larson (some edge foxing, white pages, slight glue on spine, name is erased under "BLUE"):

Although Pep's and Zips generally have the best covers, I like Blue Ribbon for reading. I love the Mr. Justice stories. I have about 2/3rds of the run in lower grade and want to finish it off. The later ones are real tough...

Solid copy there - from the few copies I've seen, the spines are chipping but I don't know if that's intrinsic to this particular issue (and is maybe why it is so tough to find in grade) or just a coincidence.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure my 2 and 3 have similar chipping.

 

So what's next in this game of Go Fish MLJ style ... anyone have any 6's?

best show in town today. I'm gonna hang on the side lines and not get in the way of you guys with the acquired deeper runs(dont know if that came out right) lol . But I'm enjoying seeing every book being posted
