I submitted three books recently and they were entered into the system on 07/31. They are now on verified. As long as I get them back by mid-September I'm fine with it. Hopefully I'll get some decent grades on them. 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

 

Looks like they are getting caught up. They were verified last week. Went to out for grading this morning and graded in the early afternoon. 20 business days minus the Friday for SDCC.

I wish you luck, too. 5 of my 7 books were hammered on grades, I expected at least a full 1.0 bump. Nik was mentioning that his books were graded a lot tighter this summer as well. I may resubmit in the future but clearly I don't want to try my luck for a couple months now.

Thanks. :) I bought a Spirit Special, Spirit #2 from Kitchen Sink, and a Vampirella 34 off the boards. I expect the Spirit Special to come back at 9.2, but I believe that it looks even better. Let's hope because 9.2 is the highest graded of those and it'd be great to have a higher grade. The other two I am not worried about. The Vampirella is for my collection and the other Spirit comic just would look nice in a slab. I also read that the grading is getting tighter. Oh well. So be it.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the grades although the Spideys between issues 156 and 188 came back a bit lower than I had anticipated. I was close to being spot on with all of the Spidey issues higher than 189 and on all of the X-Men issues. I'm VERY happy with the X-Men and especially the Venom: Lethal Protector Black Printing Error issue and the Batman #300. Six of the issues tie for top census for that issue. :banana:

Pre-screens almost double the time. Have yet to do it.

 

My experience has been they get done about 1-2 weeks later, but it is con season. I'd rather wait a few extra weeks to make sure I get the 9.8s I want.

 

I figure that I'll get some movement by the end of this week. But Tropical Storm Faye isn't gonna help if it shuts them down for the day tomorrow.

It looks like they dodged the storm. It went across Florida south of the Tampa area. The "boomerang" 3rd landfall will most likely take it back across Florida north of them.

My 7/21 subs were graded Wednesday 8/20! :banana:

 

When are my 7/7 pre-screens getting graded? :cry:

 

On another note my 8/14 Modern Fast Track were shipped yesterday 8/21! Call that fast!!!!! I got some sweet books coming in that shipment.
