Here is a closer scan of the 7.5 on ebay compared to my old copy on HA's archives (Rich's 7.5 copy). I believe we have a match!

Great blow-up scan Brannon and match! Thanks.

Peewee is da man! (worship)

If you look close, the cert # has DEFINITELY been manipulated. That's not just a fuzzy or ad scan, those numbers have DEFINITELY been played with (thumbs u

Wow, good find ^^

Brannon knows his AF15's. ^^

So, he's trying to pass this off as legit with all of those "UFO's" flying around in the background? Not to mention that faucet looking thing the baddy is trying to turn! (shrug)

Yeah, the martian attacks.

At least $4k if you are lucky. Usually 2.0's sell for around $4250-$4500

Unreal. Mine is a 1.8 Stan SS copy, and I still can't believe I was given the opportunity to buy it (raw at the time). I told my wife if I had to buy it again, I'd never be able to afford. Looks like I'm right on that account.

I'm having an on going internal debate as to whether this book is out of reach for me now. I mean, the supply is totally there, AF15's are everywhere, but demand seems super high and prices keep going up and up. I'm debating on whether to settle for a nice ASM1 instead.

Have you considered getting a nice restored copy of AF #15? Those can still be had for a reasonable price.

Thats what im hoping to do :wishluck:

It really is unreal the demand this book has. Pretty much every single auction has multiple copies in low to mid grade and yet almost every single one gets a VERY good price. Hell, even shady eBay auctions with zero feedback sellers and grainy pictures get great prices! :o

This book is just thru the roof right now and really for the last 18 months at least with no end in sight. From what ive read, im in the minority thinking the new movie will be good. The trailer i saw at the Avengers actually looked pretty damn good to me. If that thing is a hit, this dang book is probably going to go even higher or at least stay at the high demand its been at lately. Doesnt seem to be any ceiling for this book in any grade :o

I'm with you, I think this movie is going to be a bigger hit than people even realize. The Avengers has got everybody in a superhero movie frenzy and I look for that tide to help carry this and The Dark Knight Rises to heights people aren't expecting.

Honestly, I'd say get on board while you can; otherwise, it's going to get out of reach. I know supply is very high on this book, but relative to the demand, the entry ticket even for the cheap seats is never going to be cheap.

Ageed! Having sold multiple copies in the past, believe me this book appreciates in value like anything

Wish I would have heard from you about 3 months ago. I had a gorgeous 4.0 that went on C-Link for cheap. Had gorgeous PQ! :sorry:
