Nothing at the end. 9.4 went up $2k. Boring! lol

So strange!  And the 230 on the 9.8 also strange.

Not really that strange at all since the book was already right up there at pretty much current market value prior to auction end.  (thumbsu

Definitely boring though and would have been a lot more fun pre-auction end bids were a bit lower and the extended bidding went for at least a few more bidding time periods.  Nothing that we haven't seen take place with some of these books on all 3 of the major auction platforms though as it can be a bit of a snoozer when this happens. zzz

Not a real surprise though when you are talking about a book with a relatively high population count relative to this current market value where I am sure that the number of sellers willing to sell at this price point is most likely higher than the long term collector (i.e. excluding short term speculator) demand at the current price point for this book.  hm

$230,555 with ten minutes to go........interesting that their private sale is 250k and the auction is only 230.....

Don't really see too much strange here, as in a lot of cases, aren't BIN prices on eBay auctions also often higher than the true open bidding auction results on eBay(shrug)

There will be buyers remorse :preach:

Probably more seller's remorse if he was hoping to beat and surpass the last 2 higher record setting sales results that CC got for this book back in August and October of this year.    :censored:

Then again, if the seller had only paid cover price for the book way back when it first came out, than  :takeit:   :whee:

Heads up, I just got wind of a new 1st print, 6.0 white pages, coming to market.  As I understand it, this is from the original owner.  If anyone's looking, PM me.

Update:  SOLD

Would you mind sharing what the sale price was?

I just connected the seller and buyer so I'm not 100% sure.  The final price was in the $10,500 - $11,500 range but it involved cash and trade.  I think it was $9,500 cash plus a couple of 2nd print.

Finally got this back from cgc!20220225_160858.thumb.jpg.889dcb358aebe4ef92aa65abdd433e67.jpg

I've gone on record before saying I don't love sigs/sketches on key books - however, even I have to admit that this is really, really cool-looking, congrats!

Found today while looking for something else... I really wish, back in the day, I could have afforded the $15 for a third print rather than the $4 for the fourth.  Happy I still have it:

Lol amen. I've had the same happen, it may sound funny to say such a price difference wouldn't come between us 😂

But it does happen, especially trying to live each day led by faith to be in the right place right time so your needs will be provided!

It goes like that, but it DOES MOST OF THE TIME, if we're honest, make us happy with what we got and the thrill of the hunt !
