GPA Data on TMNT 1 (first print)

 

Looks like book has rebounded slightly versus the 12 month average but is still mostly flat to down versus 2 year high.

 

Given that the movie came and went with little fanfare (in terms of popularity with adults), I think these sales results are pretty good.

 

However, as an owner of multiple copies of this book, this data tells me I need to sit on my copies for awhile...

 

 

Don't know if anyone cares, but I found it interesting.

 

Last sale is a weak indicator when you have more data points available.

That 5.5 for $1800 was a sweet deal for a pretty solid looking book. Wish I threw in an offer.

I sold a TMNT 9.8 white in 2014 for 17.5k. I have another one that I'm holding. GPA doesn't reflect all sales.

Of course not, it only reflects a portion of the market. However, based on market visible sales and availability - I would say that you got a really good price. I am in the market for a 9.8 and I wouldn't pay $17.5k for a copy right now and I have bought and sold this book a lot.

Mine's an 8.0 WP. They are only "lowly" in comparison to 9.6./ 9.8 if you go to sell it.

 

Otherwise, just possessing a TMNT #1 1st printing is an accomplishment. Congrats!
