This is the only Marvel Pulp I have but features an image of the Human Torch in it. The original character of Human Torch was an android, an interesting character for its time. Most of the early Marvel covers were reminiscent of those early pulps.

I remember seeing the Larson Marvel 7 raw at a Sothebys auction in the 90's ,  what a great book, Larsons might be my favorite pedigree .. All the best and Happy holidays ...

I think this one counts as a Timely since it's from '48. My Christmas present from my wife this year is this lovely Venus #1! I've been on the hunt for a copy for a long time for a decent price and she came through. On the off chance anyone happens to have a loose cover they'd be willing to sell I'd really love to put it all together

This page is so important for historical purposes, and I never knew it existed.  Stupid question:  who is this artist?  Is it Burgos?  I find curious the picture on the back of Torch's shirt in the 3rd panel.  I guess it's the artist's way of reminding the reader of the Torch's alter ego.

It's Burgos and, given that it's an actual early story (albeit abbreviated), it's importance is less well-known than it should be.

Yes for sure, I'm not sure who the artist is but it looks like Burgos.
