Yeah, last thing a non-break through artist needs is bad word of mouth at a con where he's probably trying to pay a few bills.

 

Maybe he ought to reconsider the number of commissions he takes next time--small scale or not. This is just a shame on his part that others are STILL waiting for some little $3 sketch cards.

About the breaking of thumbs, I doubt that would speed him up. Now if you break his big toe, he could still draw and would have a hard time moving away from the drawing board.
