This is nuts, absolutely nuts, I just can't see that as a $1,300 book. I'd want substantial eye appeal on the cover for that, and it just doesn't have it. Makes me really think about selling my copy, by far the nicest below fine copy you will ever find.

And just like that, one pops up on CLink.

I openly wonder if these monstrous prices drive a bunch out of the woodwork and kill the notion that it's a hard to find book. Anything above a VF is just not going come out easily (or at all) but man oh man, I never thought we'd be looking at this as the new AF 15. A year ago, I saw tons of room for growth, but even this is knocking me back.

It's like Avengers 4 all over again, but on steroids.

Sig will change when I receive the full payment. The book is still in my hands for a little while longer. lol

Hope you received a generous price for it...otherwise you may have to chase it for a much higher price later since it's a 4.5 copy. Seems like all copies available are 2.5-3.5 and are being snatched up like hotcakes in the $900-1400 price range (the more affordable copies). :makepoint: (thumbs u

Time will tell. 6.0 are considered the VF for SC22. And 7.5 are considered the 9.2 since it's so scarce in high grade. ;)

I received a fair price for it (I will not disclose it - the buyer can if they would like to). The money will be going towards another investment in the hopes that in a year or two I will be able to afford a much nicer copy. (thumbs u

No, I will not be buying any big $$$ books for a while.

FWIW, I am not interested in that copy since I buy the book not the label. ;)

so when do we start the Green Lantern #7 sinestro thread?

:jokealert:

Actually, I started one a little while back but it died a quick death since membership in that club is even more exclusive than SC #22. (thumbs u
