I'm new to the boards, but from what I'm gathering, I can just make up my own set of comics as a set, right? Gemma, if it's not too much trouble I would like to request the the following as a registry set called 'Venomous Roots':

1) Marvel Secret Wars #8

2) Web Of Spider-Man #18

3) Amazing Spider-Man #298

4) Amazing Spider-Man #299

5) Amazing Spider-Man #300

6) Amazing Spider-Man #315

7) Amazing Spider-Man #316

8) Amazing Spider-Man #317

9) Amazing Spider-Man #330

9) Amazing Spider-Man #331

11) Amazing Spider-Man #332

12) Amazing Spider-Man #333

EDIT:

I would also like to request The Spider-Man Carnage Series as a registry called 'Carnage' set as well:

1) Amazing Spider-Man #361

2) Amazing Spider-Man #362

3) Amazing Spider-Man #363

(Not sure if you need the names from me or not) Thanks in advance.

Jerome

Due to the upcoming release of the custom sets option (to be available later this year) we will only be creating title-based sets from this point onward. Additionally we will be trying not to make too many sub-sets of shorter runs of issues from existing sets to highlight specific characters or other variants. Once the custom sets are available you will be able to create these sets in a non-competitive environment in any way that you prefer.

Will there be clean up of the current competitive registry sets? Elimination of sub-sets?

Keep up the good work Gemma!

What set would it belong in? I was planning on leaving it for the custom sets as it is a stand-alone magazine, but if there is a set where it could go please let me know! Thanks!

Hello Gemma

I know there's been talk of custom sets for quite some time, and I'd like to know more :)

Also, I'm not sure if this is possible, but what are the odds of getting a complete Captain America set that includes all 5 volumes? Basically from #100 all the way to #600 and ongoing? I know that would be quite a task to undertake, but I'm wondering if there would be any demand and if it's feasible. I think it would be cool to be able to register all my Cap books from other volumes under one set.

Well, at this point the most that I know is that the custom sets will allow the user to create a set of any graded comics, in any order or listing, but there will not be scores assigned to them. This will allow a user to display their collecting preferences and the ways that they organize their collections. Eventually, other items will also be able to be listed in this manner, creating a way for you to manage all of your collectibles through our site.

Once the new list of sets is posted and I reach the Captain America Sets, please remind me of your request. I know we are missing at least one volume that is to be added with the next list, but once all the volumes are represented in competitive sets it wont' be too much trouble to make a Complete Captain America set, if there is enough demand.

Pardon my ignorance as I just joined, but was wondering if it were possible to add a set for the Siege storyline?

Or is this something that will be taken care of with custom sets?(from an earlier post)

Thanks

Is it possible to have a Set:

Silver Surfer 1-16 only???

The current set has many Fantastic Four issues, which we all understand the origin of the Silver Surfer.

Also is it possible to have THOR

from 126 - 200?

The current Set has like 600 some comics. 600 comics is too cumbersome and too many Moderns that many Silver Age guys/gals just do not want to collect.

Any info would eb most appreciated.

CAL here for a while...

Would it be possible to have a set for the Avengers #1-403 encompassing the original run before the reboot? The current set says #1-503, which may be a typo? If not could you please consider that set? Thanks!
