Wayne-Tec
Newest edition to the collection Absolutely incredible book. One of the more under-rated Pre-Robin Tecs in my opinion. (thumbs u
Wayne-Tec
It should be interesting to see how this book fairs at auction. Detective Comics #29 CGC 1.0 (Off-White to White Pages) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Detective-Comics-29-CGC-1-0-ow-w-2nd-Batman-cover-DC-Golden-Age-Comic-Bob-Kane-/350541337831?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item519de454e7 It's already up to over 6K with just under five days left. This is the only 1.0 to ever be graded by CGC, which would make this copy one of the lowest-graded "fully complete" slabbed Tec #29 ever offered. Any estimations as to how much this one will sell for? Edited February 29, 2012 by Wayne-Tec
GBartholomew
I will guess about $7800.
Hoarder
If one had to choose, would you go for a tec 36 or 37?
Filter81
If one had to choose, would you go for a tec 36 or 37? Both great books, but Tec 36 by a mile!
sacentaur
If one had to choose, would you go for a tec 36 or 37? No contest - I'd choose the 37.
Hoarder
Interesting difference of opinion. Why? Scarcity? Future value?
Primetime
If one had to choose, would you go for a tec 36 or 37? No contest - I'd choose the 37. 37 is the better cover with full moon, rolling fog..it was my first pre robin Tec

Dark Knight
Tec 36 I think is scarcer and a better investment, but Tec 37 has a better cover
Primetime
Tec 36 I think is scarcer and a better investment, but Tec 37 has a better cover 36 is certainly tougher. It and the 27 are the only pre robin bat covers I have never owned
nearmint
I prefer the cover on #36, but that's just me.
rockman2008
I would agree the cover on 36 is better. The design on 37 is actually a patchwork of recycled figures from panels seen in Tec 28 and elsewhere. I also found 36 much scarcer compared to 37, which seems to be available everywhere these days. Point Five
I prefer #37's cover by a hair. Nice spooky coloring and ambience.
jgallo
I hate the cover to 37 it will likely be the last issue I buy because of that. I think Batman looks all messed up and that kills the cover. 36 is one of the best, full Batman swinging with cape open. You can't beat that. I am suprised the 29 1.0 is up that high but I guess there have not been any low end copies around for a long time (beyond the coverless ones). I think it looks horrible in that slab and I don't know if that is because of how it was slabed or the damage. The paper looks very nice though so that is a plus.... Timely
I don't like the goofy grin Batman has on Detective #36 so I would choose #37, but I'd be happy with either one!
