Tec 29, well there's really nothing to compare to as I haven't seen a low graded restored copy sell probably ever. The copy that may come close to it was a 3.5 conserved with a married back cover that sold for $22,500 back in March of 2020 just about before prices started going crazy. Tec 31 & 33 sold for about right, maybe a bit lower than expected. Tec 36 did well. Only copy I can somewhat compare it too was a same grade 2.5 but universal sold for first $15k in May of 2021 and that same copy sold again on July same year for $11k. Tec 37 sold for about what I expected. Closest one I can compare was the Bob Kane copy at a 0.5 that sold for $7k this year. Of course that copy has that extra bump in value. Sadly with one minute left I submitted my max bid which was over double the then current bid. And I lost out in the last 10 seconds to someone else. Astonishing. I thought I had won all the way until the page refreshed once the auction was complete. Jumped over 6 figures in final 10 seconds to beat out my max bid. My nerves were fried. I’m still hunting. What was their asking price for this copy since I just clicked onto the link and it say that the book was either sold or is no longer available, with the latter being the most likely scenario that took place I would imagine? I DID manage to grab an Action #12 and paid a lot to get it, but I needed to have a raw copy for that last Superman page!!! I've seen it said that it hit the stands 2 weeks before Tec #27 but I'm not sure if that's accurate or not.
