wow.... I adressed you the way you adressed me.

I didnt mean to hurt anyone feelings, just stating facts.

>>Just stating what I saw<<

Apparently you missed Dracula in the issue??

No worries, I have quite thick skin.

Welcome friend.

The ignore function is to die for, so far on my list : pirate, songsaboutclouds

this thread actually reads better this way.

I really dont care if the stuff people think is going to be hot falls flat on its face & is worth cover price after a few months, we are all just guessing. I'm happy to hear from anyone who thinks a new book is worth checking out. If it jumps in price then thats a bonus. Think the only ones getting really miffed are the ones who go out & buy 100 copies to flip. Can everyone stop being little moaning and enjoy the art & storyline and a warm smug smile to yourself if it jumps in value. This must be how insufficiently_thoughtful_persons get into fights at Comic Cons. Noones holding a gun to your head to buy multible copies of the comics. The tread is for Speculating on, if it was called, 'Buy this comic it really will rocket in price or you can slam my nadds between two bricks' then it be different, and maybe alot more interesting...

>>ehh I dont think so this interview with comicbookresources.com stated he wanted to do a all ages comic. Doesnt sound like Dracula<<

ehh, the teaser ad is for his unnamed all ages comic on the inside back cover. It looks fun as hell.

ehh, Dracula appears for the first time in the issue.

ehh, on the letter pages regarding Dracula Kirkman says stay tuned, implying more is coming.

ehh, that's TWO new Kirkman properties appearing in this issue.

ehh, I'll take it.

ehh,

Ignorant

and now on Ignore.

Larry

Larry, can you help other boardies out?

I'm sure there are a few more who don't have the same opinion as me &

they'd probably like to put me on ignore as well.

If you can explain to all how to do it, that'd be great.

(Unless that's just being ignorant?)

I'd like to be right once in awhile on picking the next hot book so I can finance my own collection, but if I come away with a good read, I'm still happy!

There must be some history here with a few boardies. Why else would they come in here and insult a guy who as far as I can see has done nothing other then to suggest some books that might become hot. I dont agree with a few of his choice and have discussed it, but havent felt the need to insult him.

I didn't know Larry from Moses and until he posted actually bought his variants. Didn't take many posts for me to realize he's a toolbag. If you read his earlier posts, he got very short with people who didn't agree with him. Don't know about the others.

Obviously you missed the original thread where Larry abused all & sundry for having any sort of opinion that differed from his.

His insults got a little (well put it this way, the mods deleted the entire thread after deleting Larrys posts)

wow.... I didnt mean to hit a nerve. I though this was a message board were we discuss what we think is going to "heat up" where it could benefit all of us. I didnt mean to hurt anyone feelings. I'm not here to bash anyone. Just stating what I saw.

Here we have a new member (Welcome to the boards mate) who Larry got straight into for having an opinion that differed from his.

Bazzle mate, there's only one person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed on these boards, sorry you had to run into him.

I agree. If there's any new Marvel character to come out of the past 5-10 years I would think that the Hood has probably the best chance of "making" it. What other ones can you think of that were supposed to be the next big thing? Amadeus Cho, The Sentry, Arana (Spider-Woman), Echo, Lady Bullseye. There's not a lot of new characters making it through. He'll either be around for a while after this "Infinity" story line.... or they'll kill him off. Either way, picking these up out the $1 bins seems like a safe investment to me.

What you think about sons/daughters of heros/villians (like Dakan, Skaar ect.) ?

Seems like only Bendis is pushing for the Hood, really with out him in the avengers books he'd be a unknown.

I saw that thread it was a disaster from start to finish. Both sides were guilty there. I just dont feel the need to insult the guy regularly like some of you do. I mean really the guy posts something and a couple of you come in and insult him. Go back in thread and read them. I dont know the guy from Adam, but I have been reading this thread regularly so he suggestions dont work big deal it happens. Is there a need to insult the dude because of it? I dont mean to take his side, but come on some of you are ridiculous in the comments you make toward the guy.

He has been pushing the Hood for what a couple of years now. It just hasnt stuck yet maybe it will I dont know. Daken is the one that has potential I think. His 1st appearance is pretty hard to find in 9.4 or higher grade due to the poor production on the book from an eye appeal perspective I dont know how CGC grades that part.

yah the 3rd claw 1:100 I think only around 90,0000 were printed of the original and I dont think most comic books stores order 100 of each copy. seems like a good investment
