Been reading a lot less this month, due to much traveling and catching up Dexter Season 3/4/5 and Modern Family S1/2 :pullhair:

 

Anyway I've been mainly reading these two wonderful (and huge books). Again I counted the pages and devided by 22 to get to my comic book total.

 

Creepy Archives #10 (Creepy 46/47/48/49/50) 290 pages : 13 comics

PVP Awesmology 600 pages 27 comics

 

I going to make a run at my stack of unread moderns this week as well, must be over 60 new issues in there now :eek:

Jonah Hex- No Way Back (125 pages) Counting as 5 comics (Good solid JH story. Also adds to his "back story".)

Hunter Killer- V1 13 issues (Mark Waid wrote a pretty cool story here, another "what if" about a world with super powers gone wrong.)

A God Somewhere (190 pages) Counting as 9 comics ( (thumbs u Great story about only one man in the "real world" getting super powers. Still loving this Vertigo stuff!)

Batwoman Elegy 6 issues (Amazing art by J.H. Williams III and a decent story by Rucka. I will be buying the next trade :grin: )

Rat Catcher (176 pages) Counting as 7 comics (Very cool! (thumbs u About an assasin who might or might not exist from Vertigo Crime.)

Green Lantern Corps- Revolt of the Alpha-Lanterns 7 issues (A solid read. Nothing special.)

Unknown Soldier- Beautiful World 5 issues (Great story, but like evrything else I love, it is cancelled. Sorry to see it go, but a great ending (thumbs u )

Ruule: Kiss & Tell 8 issues (Modern day story of Samson. Only o.k. (shrug) )

Star Wars; Legacy V9 5 issues (Still loving this series! Only SW book I have really enjoyed)

Star Wars: Legacy V10 5 issues (See above (thumbs u )

Green Lantern; Brightest Day 9 issues (Still good, but I am getting bored with the Blackest/Brightest stuff....)

Time Masters: Vanishing Point 6 issues (Love Booster Gold & Rip Hunter these days!)

House of Mystery: Safe As Houses 5 issues ( (thumbs u Still great!)

Secret Six: Cats in the Cradle 5 issues (Still digging this book!)

Inferno (151 pages) counting a 6 comics (Good story, art zzz )

JSA vs Kobra 6 issues (Decent read. Really dug Babinski's inks on Kramer's pencils!)

Avengers/Invaders 12 issues (Good, fun stuff!)

Conan: Born on the Battlefield 6 issues (Dark Horse has not let me down yet with their version of Conan. Great stuff! (thumbs u )

Here's my reading list for July:

 

California Girls 1-8 (Not really sure when I read this so I am counting it this month) - Total 8 - Great fun series by Trini Robbins. It is her answer to continuing Misty. I get the feeling she was happy with Marvel keeping her character.

 

Walking Dead 25-63 - Total 38 - OMG. This run of the story was so intense and good. Top story telling but I need a break before continuing with the series.

 

Superman 236 - This read lead to...Superman Kryptonite Nevermore HC - Total 8 - Interesting O'Neil "reboot" on Superman.

 

World's Finest 194, 196, 200, 201, 207, 209, 212, 214, 218, 219, 220, 221 - Total 12 - Love this title but not so much the issues without Batman. 214 was the best of the lot.

 

Joker 1, 2, 3, 4 - Crazy fun.

 

Justice League Unlimited 41 - While a bit kiddie, it is a fanastic, fun Joker/Harley story.

 

Batman Strikes 41 - Harley and Ivy on the loose.

 

Thundercats 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 - Total 6 - Never a big fan but the series wasn't too bad and then Conway comes in. I lost interest.

 

Meat Cake 1-8 - Total 8 - I love this strange series. I was gearing up to collecting the full series but MCS actually sold them before my trade credit. Arrgh....

 

BPRD vol 1-3 - Total 8 - So need to get into Hellboy

 

Justice Society Returns TPB - Total 11 - Good stuff

 

Detective Comics 874, 876-880 - Snyder goodness. Cannot wait to read the full run in trade format

 

Tokyo Mew Mew vol 1-3 - Total 3 - Couldn't get into it but I would be good for young tweeners.

 

Saint Tail 1-18 - Total 18 - The cuteness doesn't stop on this title. Such a fun little title to take away the blues. The only complaint is the series is abruptly cut short and converted into GN only. The books are so small that it takes away the story for me.

Captain America Comics # 17 - 20 = 12.5 count - Yes, all post S&K issues but there is something about these Cap stories that's straight fun esp. with the goofy horror vibes of most stories

Cinderella - Fables are Forever # 5 - 6 = 2 count - The ride on this mini was better than the ending. Loved McManus's art on this one & Chrissie Zulo (sp?) covers

Criminal - The last of the Innocent # 1 - 2 = 2 count - Issue # 2 was superb!!!

DMZ # 67 = 1 count - In a way, I am happy this is wrapping up soon.

Fables # 107 = 1 count

Gotham Noir = 4 count

Hi-Yo Silver # 17 = 1.5 count

Jonah Hex # 69 = 1 count

Northlanders # 41 - 42 = 2 count

Ozma of Oz # 7 - 8 = 2 count

Rocketeer Adventures # 2 - 3 = 2 count - Best anthology I've read in a long while

Ruse # 4 = 1 count - Very happy return to this "old" favorite

The Unwritten # 27 = 1 count - I am very excited and looking forward to this new chapter in this series.
