Just read "Red Rackham's Treasure". A fun Tintin adventure that I wanted to read because it is the basis of the upcoming movie. Not sure if I'll like the movie or not. The animation style seems a little too life-like.

Just do a page count and devide by 22.

Criminal - The last of the Innocent # 1 - 2 = 2 count - Issue # 2 was superb!!!

 

Criminal is usually great and the recent arc has been magnificent.

I don't mind at all that it's not a monthly book if the quality is consistently this good.

Evidently, the movie is based on three books. :doh: (Crab with the Golden Claws, Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham's Treasure)

 

Found this at a Borders yesterday (40% off :D ).

Cruel and Unusual 4 issues ( Cool take on what could happen to prisons in the future. Written by Delano. Not for kids.)

The Wednesday Conspiracy 134 pages counting as 5 issues (Decent read with cool art. Supernatural series)

The Resistance 8 issues (Another future storyline with great art.)

Kill Shakespeare 6 issues ( Great fun! (thumbs u )

Secret of the Unicorn was great! The lead-in story Crab with the Golden Claws which introduces Captain Haddock was very good also.

Read them in reverse order doh! but I'll read them again before the movie comes out.

 

Looking forward to the movie now... :popcorn:

Boneyard vol 2, 3, 4 - Love this series. Not sure how to count these books so I just added 1 for each.

 

Walking Dead vol 11, 12, 13 - Great series.

 

WF 225-228, 234, 244-257 - Love, love WF and the dollar issues are the best.

 

Tarot Café vol 1-6 - Beautiful artwork and very different from other mangas. The first two volumes read like Doorway to Nightmare. All one shots with good stories.

 

XXXholic vol 1 - This is the start of a great series but I have no time for it right now. Hopefully Dark Horse will omnibus it along with the other Clamp series.

 

Joker 5 - Fantastic issue, my second favorite in the run so far.

 

Batman & Robin 7-20 - Good that the Black Hand stuff was tied up. Just not a huge fan of Morrison in general.

 

Flashpoint 1-4 - Interesting mini and reads like an elseworld. Curious to see how it ends.

 

I am really lagging behind at 628. I am only count 1 for each manga volume and I guess if I counted the chapters I would be closer. I don't think I will hit 1000.

i'd count those as 4 each as that's how many single issues of the series they each contain
