If anyone would like me to publicly post their OVER/UNDER Summary. Just post it in one of these threads. (thumbs u

For future reference you have permission to publish any and all info about me. Well, apart from you know what, obviously. I mean, that goes without saying!

Okay... how about this. Who DOESN'T WANT THEIR INFO PUBLISHED?

If you'd rather not say publicly, then note it in your GROUP PM.

I'll wait until after ROUND 10 tonight to publish any others. (It's a nice round number and this was the 2nd or 3rd most difficult round. :D )

Go for it. Post away.
I wouldn't mind seeing mine as well.
+1

Me too, please.

If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to know mine as well.

Is the Net Over/Under a meaningful statistic? It doesn't take into account the range of the over/under swing. Look at these two contestants:

Contestant A:

7 Bullseyes

1 Round over by 1 grade (+1)

1 Round under by 1 grade (-1)

Net Over/Under: 0

Contestant B:

0 Bullseyes

3 Rounds over by 3 grades (+9)

1 Round over by 5 grade (+5)

4 Rounds under by 3 grades (-12)

1 Round under by 2 grades (-2)

Net Over/Under: 0

The "gross" over/under (or total grades off) is much more telling:

Contestant A: Gross Over/Under: 2

Contestant B: Gross Over/Under: 28

True. The Gross Over/Under is the MOST GRADES OFF metric.

The NET Over/Under is more meaningful in terms of how many rounds. I think in your example you can see B is more erratic... but seems to go equally above and below the mark. (Especially if you drop the highest and the lowest.)

However, if you have someone consistently going below the grade, then you have a more meaningful statistic.

I agree that the lowest gross over/under number is what truly shows the most consistent graders in comparison to what CGC grades the books at. What you won't know by that number is who consistently undergrades vs. who consistently overgrades.

My muscles are sore as can be after shoveling the heaviest snow I can remember in the last 5 years, but I have a feeling a crucially important orifice will be even more sore come 8 o'clock.

I have to go back out after I put my daughter to bed. It's been one sucktastic day. :(
