Investment Potential in the Copper Age

191 posts in this topic

I was just looking on Worldwide Comics website at the new arrivals and there is

a long list of freshly slabbed Copper books in 9.6 that are priced as low as 10.00,

obviously less than the cost of the slabbing. I think shows just how much 'investment' potential there is with Copper.

I've seen this in the dollar bins not to long ago, I'd recommend picking it up before the in development T.V. series is finally announced.

not really common dollar box stock...might get in as a dealer oversight or a mid-grade copy, but yes, if it's there, that's a good price

What about these? :)

yes, i see tons of the mini in dollar boxes. dunno if they're in 9.8 shape. never buy them.

Shelton literally had 30+ of each issue in his quarter bins today at FCBD. I dint bother checking for 9.8s but it looked like old shelf stock so there were probably some soild copies in there.

I simply do not see why anyone ( even the most miserable collectors in the hobby ) would want to invest in copies of Green Lantern Emerald Dawn #1

I guess its a minor Key: 1st post crisis Origin of Hal Jordan, Green Lantern.

Perhaps I lack vision.

I would rather invest in: Green Lantern Corps # 201 (June 1986)

Amongst MANY things: The first appearance of Kilowog

for $1-$10 I'll take a shot ( or did I allready? )

ROFL.

Dude, that sig banner is redonkulous.

I sure hope you don't always post with that. Quick way to the ignore button I'd think.

His actual responses are a much quicker way to the ignore button. They make the sig line seem downright charming.

Wow..

That's pretty off-putting. Sorta like having your business name, phone number and email plastered all over your car and then driving like a jack@ss... Great way to stir up some business...
