As you just seen here, this is exactly what the problem is( and that again Zeman answers the original post of this Thread).

 

This "Read 'Em" is the guy chasing me from the ebay Comics Board. Let me ask you this first:

 

1) how many comics has "read 'em" submitted to CGC? How many has CAL submitted?

 

2) is "read 'em" anti-CGC? is CAL?

 

if you don't know the answers, I will fil them in right now.

 

"Read 'em"( think about his name, that should be a clue) to my knowledge has vowed to never use CGC in any way shape or form. His mantra is collecting low grade comics " beat-but-complete". He is very vocal about the "evils" of CGC and anyone who knows anything about him knows I am telling the truth here. He has this "perception" that CGC is somehow going to harm his low-grade hobby - but CGC is geared to the higher graded comics and it's traders. He has kept this enormous file on me, saving every email and probably has a copy of evey post I ever made on the eBay Comics Chat Board. He has made it his mission in life to follow me for whatever reasons.

 

Now he says CAL has "skewed views". What are CAL's "skewed viwes"? You can choose to listen to him if you want to, that is your choice. But also on the "Rant" Thread a few other Forum members did not like the fact that this "war and chasing" has spilled from another Board to this one.

And vice-versa - the ebay Comics folks let me have it when I went back there after a 100 day or so absence because I had this "deal" with "Read 'em" that he broke when he kept chasing me here with his continued trolling.

 

"read 'em" should not be allowed here. Period. The year and a half I was not submitting to CGC, I was NOT here. Period.

Hello. No this is NOT the former USSR. This is a privately run company that has a Chat Forum with guidelines that are broken on a daily basis - and I have been out of line at times. Comparing the Forum with a Nation of the likes of the USSR is like comparing Santa Claus to Mike Tyson.

You, me, and everyone else still have the freedom to express ourselves in an appropriate manner(even anti-CGC). Personally, I'm still lukewarm about the concept...which brought me to these boards in the first place. I listen and get others' opinions about slabbing in general. Then, I can make up my own mind about it. You gotta take the negative along with the positive to get the whole picture. Happy, happy, fluff stuff just doesn't cut it.

 

Of course there is always the ignore button. Which I haven't used yet, because I still want to hear both sides of a story.

I agree on one item: will not use the Ignore button. The Ignore button is for those who need it - I do not need that to ignore someone.

 

Again, the gathering of info both pro and con about CGC is OK - the trash talk, trolling and constant fighting is not. But maybe that is JUST WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT TO SEE but won't admit it - kinda like the Jerry Springer show - no one admitted to watching the show but millions did.

I check out plenty of message boards, and there are always plenty of insufficiently_thoughtful_persons, just flaming for fun.. but this one seems much more negative than most of the others.. Does anyone else notice this? Maybe it's just that this is a smaller forum, and the regular folks stick to lurking because of all the flamers, but I thought it was pretty interesting how the most popular threads on here must contain whining, complaining, venting, or anger...

What kind of a reaction do you usually get when you post this on various forums? Or is this the first forum you've posted this on. I think steel sharpens steel, and if you project negativity it will become so. Try posting a positive post or asking a question that is comic related. I think you will be pleasantly surprised
