seems to be getting hotter...I sold all my individual copies and now I'm watching them sell for more on ebay...sooo...

Sets are pretty low priced right now though...

It's almost like people don't want to have 66 more comics in their house?

I just sold my F/VF copy of the Preacher Preview for $250 (barely last a day). I had it up last week for $75 with no bites.

The Preacher 1-66 set I had up for $125 last week with no bites and now its back up for $350 and probably won't last the week.

What a difference a TV announcement can make.

That is a very different looking list than I was picturing from the #6 to #20 example. I was impressed with the steady readership and consistency but there is none. It ran up to 93,656 on #9 and down to 78,087 on #16 which would cover about 4 months. Since #1 the print run has dropped 14 times and risen 5 times. This book is all over the board. Still, it brings decent $ in recent sales.

You weren't expecting no variance in orders issue to issue, were you? The variance in orders from 6 to 20 is about 12%, with that 12% not being a back end declining trend. 12% to me is statistically insignificant and is probably about as steady an ordering trend as you will be able to find. Bottom line - SSM orders have been steady and stable from issue 6.

No. I expected something of steady trend. The difference from 9 to 16 is huge. I was more curious as to what caused the disparity. I buy 1 each month so it's not me lol

Arriving late to the party, but # 9 was heavily promoted by Marvel and Dan Slott as a game changer (I remember Slott saying that #9 was going to make you as angry as ASM #700)

#17 bump is due J.G. Jones variant (1:50)... that one was very nice, and I think still sells for good money

Expect a great bump for # 22 also

Makes sense to me. I didn't remember anything in #9. Print runs are hard to figure (shrug)

Wasn't Issue 9 when....

Doc Ock finally "killed" Peter in his head to make Spider-Man officially all Octavius from then on?

I don't rally see a reason for Blackout's first appearance should gain heat. Might want to ask this question to the Bronze section, since it's a bronze book.

Maybe bloggers came across a stash they are trying to get rid of.

:roflmao: I just bought a large collection of bronze and copper ( no major keys) but some of it is dealer backstock and I thought hmmm, how could I start a speculator craze for Doctor Strange #18? Nova 19 works too though because I have a lot of those also lol

Anyone know why Nova Vol 1 #19 is being talked about on the blogs and getting bid up and sold on ebay?

Because the issue and Blackout ROCK! lol

Seriously, that does put a little smile on my face because that issue is a sentimental childhood favorite of mine.

Crispy cream doughnut burger from the county fair... yummy :cloud9:

SUCH a States thing. I don't think most Canadians are even aware of which county they live in.
