But it's a pin-up? It isn't in continuity or out of continuity and is after BA 12 anyway, right? It's cool, I'll give you that. Cable's face appears in the "next month" section of New Mutants 86...

Yeah its just an art book, no dialogue or story.

In my opinion pin-up comics and similar works are undervalued depending on the art within. I personally collect Tim Vigil art. I will buy anything he has done even Grips. But I'm also a completest. I understand not everyone is but It's likely that a lot of people who collect comics are. Point is, there doesn't always have to an in-continuity story or panel sequence for me to want to purchase his comic work. This seems to be another case of people just not knowing about early Harley art in a comic. If I were a serious Harley collector I would want it.

I have never made a dime of of Superman Adventures 4 and there is no image of Harley prior to BA12 ( unless you count her appearance in a certain children's book )

There is an image of Harley in Batman Chronicles Gallery 1 that pre-dates her first in-DC-continuity appearance in the Batman: Harley Quinn book with the Ross cover though.

Very cool, I love stuff like this.

Never noticed .... :baiting:

What do you reckon on this one for a 1st appearance.

TBH like the rest of this sellers unethical 5 x cover price pre-order sales, this is just sad doh!

1st app of Rocket Racoons name

I would draw the line here.

lol

That's what u had to do with East of West RRP. Wait until something I had went higher and the RRP went lower and then made a trade. I'm patient. lol

surely for that price you could get a piece, or several pieces, of OA from the creators? That auction must have attracted the two biggest Spread fans on the planet.

That's a good point. Oh well, as long as they're happy, let it rip. lol

Pretty sure another sold BIN for 299 OBO here. Not saying it isn't crazy, but it might be the beginning of a trend.

Could be, you never know. It seems high when I compare it to the SDCC Five Ghosts sets but then again, these came out prior to the story and Five Ghosts after the first 5 came out. I would still rather have the SDCC set.

ENORMOUS ENORMOUS ENORMOUS! WAY TO GO TIM.

On Wednesday Midtown's TImes Square store still had a batch of the regular and variant covers. Today I stopped by after work because I had missed something on Wednesday and it looks like someone cleared out the variants. (A few of the regular edition were still available.)

I was surprised to see a few copies of Figment #2 still available.

Sheesh...I got one of these from Justin Jordan at NYCC last year. It also came with a print. Have no idea where it is, though...got it because I like Jordan's LUTHER STRODE and wanted to support his table. He was there all weekend and I'm fairly certain he didn't sell out. I picked mine up on the last day and there was still a sizable stack.
