Can I leave a negative feedback if someone sold me 2 copies of the hot topic at 35 and 30 2 days ago and now doesn't want to send them because of how high the prices are? Or no? I have 6 I got from hot topic myself so I don't care I just want to know what the rules are on this. Thanks for the input.

This happens ALL THE TIME and especially with big sellers, I dont wanna name names, but we know who they are..

I dont know what a bad negative will do in this case other than mess up the sellers reputation, is it appropriate? maybe, will it get you the comic? no! In my book leaving a neg is just bad karma, unless the seller was rude to you after he was on the bad, there is no sense in seeking "retribution".

I agree. I'm not leaving the neg.

 

So if a board member sold you these books and then backed out, would you have him added to the Probation List? You probably would and so would almost everyone else. Then why would you let this guy get off scot-free? Non-action by victims, no matter what it is in this world, only helps to enable guys like this to continue to pull the same krap over and over again. Make him suffer the consequences of his actions. :sumo:

A contract is a contract. He agreed to sell at a price and you agreed to buy at a price. If the price had gone down I highly doubt he would be as understanding about you deciding it was no longer worth it to you. The seller would deserve a negative feedback if they back out of a transaction out of pure greed.

 

No better words said. I winced selling several #1 for the $20-30 only to watch them go 2-5x after that.

how is that "going" anywhere? anyone can ask a ludicrous price. it takes two to tango.

 

If you look at completed sales on eBay, over the past two weeks numerous sales for this book have completed, mostly in the $100 range. Something seems to be up.

Could be. Some of those Copper #1s or first appearances have sold well in high grade for a while, and then there are ones like Sleepwalker and X-Force #11 that just sneak up on you.

 

Never a bad idea to pick them up any time you see them for under $1.
