This season has been much darker than first reported, surprised there hasn't been much buzz. I've enjoyed this season more than last season so far.

I totally agree with this. I love where this show is going.

Arrow Non-Spoiler Review: "Haunted" Is The Most Important Episode of the Season

That said, it's likely best that Constantine doesn't overtake the episode. Not because Matt Ryan isn't great in the role -- he takes it up here with ease and is so good that ever scene he's in is a painful reminder that this could be the last time -- but because he's brought into the episode in service of the Arrow storyline. While the role John Constantine plays in the story could have been fulfilled by any number of DC Comics magic users, there's no question that as guest appearances go, this one was well used. The decision to tie a clamored-for crossover to tie up a prickly loose end in the ongoing story is a clever one.

This is, ultimately, an Arrow storyline, ably assisted by the charming, roguish John Constantine.

It sounds like Constantine blended well with the Arrow storyline. But in a way, he didn't dominate the show.

I'm just annoyed that Sara "Butt-Chin" is back. She is so annoying.

She was 10x better than Laurel as Canary in terms of action though. She was at least somewhat believable in terms of coordination & fighting ability etc.

Wow, really?

About the only criticism I have of Arrow, which is excellent, is thinking they miscast Laurel and Sara for each others roles. One comes across 'soap opera', the other a well rounded actor deserving of a permanent role. imho.

I just get past her chin and weird eye-looks. Better actor than Laurel? I agree. Better looking? Nope. I can stare into Laurels eyes all day long.

I agree. She's beautiful.

Hoping this will lead to some more Constantine down the line.

Towards the end of the series, they were putting out some of the best stuff in comics television. The episode adapting "Hard Time" was amazing, and so was the stuff touching on Alan Moore's swamp thing run.

Last night's episode was off the chain!!!

There was more showcasing of Constantine's magic and abilities in that one episode than there was in the entire run of Constantine on NBC.

The CW demonstrated some of the real potential that character has and I was not disappointed.

It just goes to show that they know how to deliver what the fans want at the CW.

One thing bothered me about the episode.

Constantine saves Sarah's Soul, and his thanks is Oliver quietly escorting him from the building.

And then after, everyone thanks OLIVER for saving Sarah.

You clowns couldn't at least get John a gift card for the Sizzler or something?
