So wait... Modern Slow track is 55 Business days and Fast track is 15??

Service Current Turnaround Est. Turnaround

Modern* 55 business days 20 business days

Modern Fast Track* 15 business days 10 business days

Not sure why they both putting an estimated TaT as they haven't hit it for Value, Econ or Modern for years now.

Collectors' Society Coupon (15 Business Days)

Received: Friday, December 19, 2014 (Business Day 0)

Verified: Monday, December 22, 2014 (Business Day 1)

Scheduled for Grading: Monday, January 12, 2015 (Business Day 14)

Graded: Tuesday, January 13, 2015 (Business Day 15)

Grading/Quality Control: Thursday, January 15, 2015 (Business Day 17)

Shipped/Safe: Wednesday, January 21, 2015 (Business Day 20)

So Collectors' Society Coupon submission is 5 business days behind the 15 business day projected turn-around. In fairness, there were 3 intervening federal holidays/3 long weekends during the processing of this submission.

I'm going slow boat on my next couple of batches. Its going to be a long wait....

I just sent three books to Joey that I wanted to go Economy slow track, but I am considering FTing them. It still chafes me to spend the extra $30, but waiting until June to get my books back is also pretty irritating. I just need to decide which is the lesser evil.

If you are planning on selling them, go for the Fast Track.

I wished I had...

I'm not planning to sell them, which is why I was going to save my money and go glacial track. But my books were sent off before the holidays, and my impatience is starting to creep up on me...

Ah... personally, if they were mine & I was keeping them, I'd save the $10/book and let 'em be slow.

:)

There is definitely solid logic there, it just bugs me to have to wait the six months in between sending them off and getting them back. Of course I'm not unique in this respect.
