I don't know if I have ever had any, but I buy mags on a regular basis. Are they fairly easy to distinguish?

A few Canadian variants.  Price is really the only obvious difference, the seller didn't distinguish any of these when I bought them:

That Vamp #113 is the top CPV magazine to get. Congrats! Do you have any CPV Vamp's graded? 

The one who sold it to you probably had no clue...his loss and your gain in this case.

I don't have any graded Vampi's, sorry.  And I'm certain the seller had a clue but just missed it... I got all three books from MCS.

Given how prices on Warren magazines jumped around based on page count, the variants can be really tricky to spot unlike, say, Marvel books where the 95c price is screamingly obvious.

CPV's have a higher COVER PRICE and most also have a BARCODE considering they are NEWSSTANDS . You can check out the Canadian Price Variant guide that gets updated each year with pics for comics and magazines (similar to the Overstreet) at:
