Readcomix
I take it back -- searched crusaders without Muhammad and found some; Chick Publications. Wild stuff, and affordable; thanks!
Jimmy Linguini
I ordered three off the chick website a few weeks back still waiting on delivery. It's weird. Mohammed story where the cartoonist isn't killed for drawing Mohammed.
oakman29
Have no clue why but... The pope is heating up That's because Gabe renounced the Pope. They figure if Gabe doesn't want him, it must be good.

Lonzilla
Will the crusaders Muhammad comic ever increase in value? Seems kind of underappreciated for what it is I think the Crusaders books have some potential... great covers, good production value, wonky distribution with some scarcity, controversial content, etc. But for the moment, I think there's no market awareness (see previous post!) so nothing to trigger a price increase. I've been collecting the Chick Crusaders books for a while and the Chick tracts as well. Great stuff!

50YrsCollctngCmcs
Isn't Jack Chick the same guy who creates those small religious pamphlets? He's been at this type of publication a longer time!

The Less Blob
Have no clue why but... The pope is heating up That book has sold pretty decently for a while. As I posted in another thread I got three offers on one in an hour, but the money involved wasn't earth shattering.

Dunno where I'd find it other than a yard sale. Most comic shops probably wouldn't view these as real comics.
The Less Blob
I see he died a couple of months ago. Interesting background. Was not religious until his 20s.
The Less Blob
His comics were banned from Christian bookstores because they wee too insulting to catholics.
The Less Blob
Of course, I buy these along with all the Christian comics I see from al hartley, et al that I see if the price is right. Heck, treasure chests too. I have a decent little christian comic side collection going. I hit a stockpile in a comic shop in mississipi once, but my nyc shops get them too. Readcomix
Thanks guys! As a result of this thread, I grabbed the biggest cheap batch of mid-grade Chick Crusaders I could off of eBay two days ago, a dozen books from the run. I gotta be nuts....
