The Tales from the Crypt were good reads.

The Thors are a rough period though. :P

I bought Thors 251-300 on the boards for 60 cents each, and I'm starting to think I was swindled. :D

The Theater #3 – 4.. This has become one of my favourite books to read at the moment. Self contained horror stories. While the ideas are not entirely original, they are presented well, the art is nice but the -script’s are always well written. I recommend this to any horror fans. It’s the comic book version of “The Outer Limits”.

Just read Peter Panzerfaust 1-8.

Great book! It's a play off "Peter Pan."

Peter is the leader of a group of orphans (Lost Boys) who helps lead them out of France during WWII. There is even a Nazi Captain Hook.

I don't know much about the original Peter Pan story, so those more familiar with it will get more of the Easter Eggs along the way. But I enjoyed the story without having that prior knowledge. It's still a great story. (thumbs u

Vampirella Vs Dracula #1 .. I felt like I had missed a story. All the characters are in place and events are in motion, no flashbacks, no block of text on the 1st page, just straight in. Not sure if this is a sequel to a previous story but it certainly feels like it. Confusing.

Talon #1... I had low expectations for this title but I was pleasantly surprised by the 1st issue. It kind of reminded me of the late 90s Nightwing series, everything was going so well until the costume was revealed which I thought SUCKED. Now I have to get over that aspect to enjoy the next issue :(

Invincible #1-#25: A superior super-hero book. There's nothing original in it but Kirkman manages to breathe new life into a traditionally tired old genre. I hope the next 75 issues continue in the same vein.

Superior Spider-Man #1: Oh dear, all the hoopla of the previous months over the demise of Petey and we get this wet blanket of a story and then the 'twist' ending. And to think that Dan Slott had a decent record as a writer for Marvel before this.

New Avengers #1: Another Avengers title, another world threatening event - continuity must be a dirty word at the House of No Ideas.

All New X-men #5. Still interesting, still a good read but it says much about the book, and the current state of the modern Marvel, that the best parts are when it focuses on the 1960's X-men and not the clichéd meanderings of Cyclops and his merry bunch.

Blackacre #1.. Mad Max style story, interesting setup, looking forward to the next issue.

Hellboy: In Hell #1.. Not really a huge fan of the art, some of it looked muddled.

I Love Trouble #1.. No idea what the story is about, horrid art that I just could not get past, didn't read it.

Comeback #1... Interesting time travel concept, looking forward to the next one.

Clone #1.. Action packed Bourne style 1st issue, a clone of the central character kidnaps his wife and is helped out by another clone. Cool 1st issue.

Total: 15 - I have discounted I love Trouble as I didn't read it.
