Erndog Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 So what's happening with the story again? I have the latest issue but haven't bothered reading it because I can't remember whats going on! I find this book is quite difficult to follow on a month to month basis. Probably reads a lot better in trade. Hickman speaks in friggin tongues so it's difficult to really understand whats going on. I think they have written the last 8 or 9 issues more like a TV show, more serial segmentation, than the first 5 issues. I liked the fact that he said if they do a show, they would have to be involved. Like multiples times what you paid for it. I didn't exactly want to have to post here, but I have yet to see it pop up online anywhere, so I figure it's worth a shot. I don't even look at a books grade if I'm buying a sketch. +1 I too like the Ranger sketch. I agree in that it's about the sketch; not the grade. Your DD sketches look superb, Erndog. When pricing Saga SS books, one must be mindful of any sketches on the back by Fiona Staples. HarveySwick's recent Revival sketch is in the spoiler below. I would take Harvey's Revival Sketch graded at a 9.0 or so over one graded at a 9.8. But that sketch/coloring might be deemed as being on another level -- it's superb. I dropped off a 50 pack of markers with Mike Norton and Tim Seeley at Boston Comic Con today and asked that they color in my Revival sketch. Here is the result!
