Turok #1 (French reprint, 1972) VF+ : $50 shipped anywhere in Canada or USA

 

Extremely tough book to find in decent shape. Let's face it, you may never see this issue for sale again. This book was printed in France. Some of them were distributed for sale in Canada. The price sticker is therefore normal on such a book when originally offered for sale in Canada.

 

There seems to be a tiny dot of color touch-up on one stress line at bottom of spine but I'm not 100% sure Donated by pickycollector

This is a painting I had in a show last month. It is the 1st in a series of covers based on old children's books that deal with more relevant topics of today with an eye towards sarcasm. This is gouache on cotton acid free paper with claria ink text. This is framed at about 13" x 19".

Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos # 14 Estimated grade: 6.5 to 7.0

 

Largest flaw is in the upper left hand corner, a 1/4 inch abraded corner. The book lies very flat, page quality is off white. There is one almost invisible and light crease that does not break the color in the lower left hand corner. OPG $30 in 6.0, $66 in 8.0.
