Does the retail version come out after the direct market version? I only ask because Amazon still lists street as 7/23, it used to say 7/31, like BN still does.

It's still a useful reference to me. What other publication has that much comic book history contained within? For someone like me that drops in and out of the hobby, it's good for catching up on stuff that I've missed.

I have been reading the market reports for years! I love those!

I haven't bought one for a few years. I might pick up a HC this time around. Mainly just for the market reports-those are always good reading.

I have not bought one since the internet. Once I drifted back into the hobby, I thought about getting that but then purchased an iPad with verizon wireless. It is an excellent reference as far as breaking down important issues in title but after that...

 

It could be outdated by day of release. It suffers from what is plaguing all printed news media.

I buy one every year because I have 2-up. One of these days will try to get a low grade of the first OSPG. Market reports are fun to read.

The market reports are much improved from when most of you guys quit buying. The articles are also good. I'll be there at my LCS on day one of release.
