It is definitely a movie with loads of assumptions, rumors and false leads. That whole fake -script news made it even trickier to figure out what is really going on.
that's the elephant in the room when it comes to BvS and JL.

that's true it could have been that she had the correct list but it wasn't the finale list that WB/DC was going to use. which would explain the changes in the production of BvS and JL.

With the latter, that had to happen. One of the studios had to make the jump. And grabbing the earlier date to kick off the year was not a bad move. If anything, it gets a chance to hit audiences with the 'WOW' factor rather than being the next comic book movie.

what would be crazy for them to do is have JL come out in August 5 months after BvS and then have the others films follow after JL would give them a huge jump in sales and show their not backing down.

SHAZAM Movie: Will Warner Bros. Next Screen Superhero Be CAPT ... Ummmm ... BILLY BATSON?

----------------------

In June, well-known entertainment reporter Nikki Finke cited unnamed sources to allege that a Shazam film was being planned by Warner as early as July 2016 — less than two months after the release of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

It should be noted that, as accurate as Nikke Finke's posts usually are, even she admitted that the schedule she cited remains "in flux." And the lack of an announcement at last month's Comic-Con International in San Diego makes a summer 2016 release date questionable.

The movie, however, is looking more and more likely, particularly if DC's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns has any influence. When asked in mid-July about which character he'd like to see brought to live action next, Johns said "Shazam."

DC Movies To Be Announced This Month

Along with Dawn of Justice's new date, Warner Bros. also announced nine other untitled DC Comics adaptations all the up through 2020, and Dan Fellman teases that “some of those untitled DC movies should begin to be announced later this month,” but that's not all. The Warner president also said that the first Zack Snyder-directed Justice League movie might be closer than you think. When EW asked Fellman if they will release a quick sequel to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016 instead of waiting the usual two to three years, he replied, “While it hasn’t been officially announced, I think it’s a pretty good bet.”

Did Zack Snyder Call A Radio Show To Defend AQUAMAN?

-------------------------

This morning, a man claiming to be the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder called the Detroit radio station 97.1 The Ticket. The caller's voice sounds nearly identical to Zack's. This man, gave the hosts a ring because he heard them making disparaging remarks about Aquaman. Well, "Zack" didn't care for that one bit and felt obligated to give them a ring in order to defend the King of the Seven Seas.

i really didn't think Aquaman was badass until i read the new52 JL book and saw this. then Johns gave us a great run and build more into the Aquaman mythology.

There is something in there about Snyder saying "Aquaman could cut Superman's flesh", how is this possible? Any theories?

Because everyone forgets that Aquaman's physiology and habitat make him physically more dense and strong at a cellular level. At depths that would crush a submarine he's swimming around like he's in a backyard pool.

Superman can clearly be injured by physical combat: ala Doomsday's battle with him to the 'death'. So if Supes gets pounded hard enough...he bleeds.

In spite of all the jokes about Aquaman, he's a pretty tough .

yeah a lot of people forget that Aquaman swim around those depths. superman is almost god like but like every god their are areas others can do better. superman can run super fast but the flash is faster, i bet superman can swim to those depths but can't last like Aquaman in those depth without getting hurt.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquaman

Besides the 'fish telepathy' which has been a source of humor for many folks over the years, Aquaman has a litany of different powers which make him a tough mofo:

Aquaman has a number of superhuman powers, most of which derive from the fact that he is adapted to live in the depths of the ocean. He has the ability to breathe underwater. He possesses superhuman durability high enough to remain unaffected by the immense pressure and the cold temperature of the ocean depths, this also makes him tough enough to be invulnerable to machine gun fire. He also possesses superhuman strength. He can swim at very high speeds, capable of reaching speeds of 3,000 meters per second and can swim up Niagara Falls. He can see in near total darkness and has enhanced hearing granting limited sonar. Although he can remain underwater indefinitely without suffering any ill effects, Aquaman grows weak if he remains on land for extended periods. However, when Batman invented Aquaman's water suit he was able to walk on land for an indefinite amount of time and was no longer vulnerable to a "dehumidifier". This weakness was later removed from continuity in 2011, establishing that he grew up on land before learning of his Atlantean heritage. In some versions, he is able to manipulate the water around him, creating a variety of shapes and tools, or even condense moisture in the air to form a water source.

After the loss of his left hand, Aquaman initially replaced it with a cybernetic retractable hook, then a cybernetic hand. The mechanical hand was replaced by a magical hand made out of water given to him by the Lady of the Lake, which grants Aquaman numerous abilities, including but not limited to: the ability to dehydrate anyone he touches and killing them instantly, the ability to shoot jets of water from his hand, scalding or freezing, healing abilities, the ability to create portals into mystical dimensions, and the ability to communicate with the Lady of the Lake through the waterbearer hand. His biological hand was restored when the character was resurrected in Brightest Day.
