Guess this is a good place as any to drop this:

Looks like it's in theaters TODAY for one day only....then on DVD shortly thereafter.

Yup! That was pointed out in the thread about this film.

BATMAN: RETURN OF THE CAPED CRUSADERS (10/11/16)

:foryou:

Shucks....I thought I found something novel....lol.

You should be applauded for your efforts :applause:

If it's any consolation, I'm 5 hours ahead of Bosco and he's still posted everything already... ;)

Batman is taking over HBO in November leading up to the ‘Batman v Superman’ premiere

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be making its HBO debut on November 26th, and to celebrate they will be airing a ton of live-action and animated Batman content as well.

Subscribers of HBO Go and HBO Now can begin watching the Batman movies right away, and they’ll start airing on the television channel this month too. Here’s all the great Batman content that HBO subscribers can watch:

  • “Batman” (1989)
  • “Batman Returns” (1992)
  • “Batman Forever” (1995)
  • “Batman & Robin” (1997)
  • “Batman: Under the Red Hood” (2010)
  • “Batman: Year One” (2011)
  • “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns” (Part 1, 2012)
  • “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns” (Part 2, 2013)

You'd think they would have the Nolan Trilogy lead up the BvS.

It feels like they purposely separate themselves from those films. Which is crazy, as The Dark Knight would make that list pop.

Although I did watch The Dark Knight Returns 1 & 2 the other day. Still one of the best superhero animated movies - ever! Peter Weller's voice is perfect for the role.

All the animated features are really, really good.

Sadly, the best one isn't on that list. :(

This is HBO. They just love to court controversy... ;)

I think I'll check those 2 out then. They might be staying away from the Nolan trilogy because it would outshine BvS with all the mixed emotions. Hopefully they air the ultimate edition, since people have been saying the movie flows much better with the additional 30 mins. (shrug) Still haven't watched it myself. Edited by chezmtghut

You're on a desert island with a TV and DVD and you only have a choice of one out of two movies (Batman & Robin or Superboy: Season 1) to watch in endless loop until you are rescued. Which one would you pick? hm
