Maybe the buyer can give a reference on that high dollar transaction. Posting a pic with no grade, no desc, and no back cover is going to draw negative attention. Hopefully, a nice positive feedback will help you out a bit.

I was negotiating with him on the #247 and was willing to pay more than what he got for the book but he never did manage to get me good pictures of the book. I found it strange that he took less money.

I'm not Brock, but I enlarged the photo and see 2 pieces of tape on the top part of the spine, but the top staple.

I see what you are mentioning as well and not sure if that is tape, some tape removed, or what, but the 2 on the top of the spine are pretty easy to spot when the photo is enlarged.
