Dreadstar: there's absolutely some new news a few weeks ago that hit Bleeding Cool and CBR. I am too lazy to go searching.

 

Global Frequency: For what it's worth, it was first announced as "Warren Ellis project". ~9 months later, it was identified as Global Frequency (around Jan-2015). Since then, there's an IMDb page for Global Frequency. It's in development. As I don't have IMDb Pro, I can't see any other details.

Take the information from IMDb with a grain of salt (as you should any database that is primarily user drive content... like these boards ).

I would be very surprised if Global Frequency makes its way to the TV medium.

Global Frequency is just a counter-terrorist organization. If Fox wanted a Fringe or X-Files like TV program, they wouldn't need to acquire a pre-established work.
