I love that pointilist cover on People Minus X, and it was one of the first vintage pb's I ever found - a ratty copy in the basement of my parents house from the people who lived there before us.

Not sure the pulp market is up for Comic Connect’s upcoming pulp auction. Going to take awhile to get through them all.  Here’s one I hadn’t seen before.

Minor pickup today, I couldn’t resist adding a Digit as a type sample to my collection.  I love the two shillings sixpence price:

Today was the big one… went to KAYO books for the first time in two years, and then followed up with City Lights and Green Apple as a chaser.  Just going to post some group shots, if anyone wants photos of specific books let me know.  I’ll start with the Dells, the #4 is the early, non-mapback version:

One of the cool things about vintage pb's that isn't usually shown is the page edge ink. When books are minty fresh like this stack, the red-pink pages are blazing. Handsome cover art by Barye Phillips on my autobiography

Just in,  a dead mint copy of Avon 315,  The Metal Monster by Abraham Merrit. The incredible Ray Johnson cover whose original art posted by Doug Ellis over on comicartfans last december and re-posted here started my journey of uncovering who "The Great Mystery Man" of paperback cover artists was. I've uncovered a lot of details of his life and made some great friends along the way. My article will be close to 10,000 words and hopefully will get published next year 

The colors, gloss and freshness don't get better than this on a laminated pb
