Doktor
Just remember, every superhero related property gets worse when the word "Rise" used in relation to it. Rise of the Silver Surfer was worse than FF. Rise of Electro was worse than ASM. Dark Knight Rises was worse than Dark Knight. Rise of the Lycans was worse than both of the first 2 Underworld movies. That word is like a curse on superhero media.
Bosco685
An extensive article about what we have ahead of us in Season 2. ‘Gotham’ Season 2 Details: Selina’s New Crowd & A Misunderstood Big Bad SEASON 2 Will NOT have A VILLAIN-OF-THE-WEEK FORMAT Now that Gotham has found its rhythm, season two is a definite shift away from the procedural and will be a deep dive into character story. Get ready for some serious story arcs. Executive producer John Stephens likened it to early seasons of Buffy. “You would have an episode where she was doing something else, but the mayor saga story was always pushing forward throughout. The mayor was the Big Bad. That’s the shape we’re looking for. Within that, we will have blocks, kind of like a two or three episode arc.” SELINA IS HANGING WITH A NEW CROWD “Selina only does bad things for good reasons. We’re definitely going to be exploring how it affects Bruce and her relationship,” Bicondova explained at Comic-Con. “They have their issues, because [laughs] Bruce doesn’t agree with Selina’s thought process. That causes conflict with any relationship.” “[Tigress acts as] a proto-Catwoman in the way she moves and her weapons of choice. And a young Selina Kyle will see her and you’ll see her put together the pieces [and] Selina will go, ‘Oh, I like that whip. I think I might want to be like that.’ And you’ll see how she starts to use that to go forward.”

Bosco685
Ben McKenzie Promises Gotham Season 2 Is Exactly What Fans Want To See “I think we made a mistake relatively early on in trying to introduce a villain and take care of that villain in one episode: catch them, send them to Arkham, do whatever,” McKenzie said. “That was just a mistake. We should’ve never done it.” Still, McKenzie says Gotham Season 2 will be just what fans have been hoping for. “The audience really wants to understand who these people are and live with them, sit with them and enjoy them,” he said. “Whether they’re evil or good, they are entertaining. So that’s what we’re doing in season 2. [it’s] really kick . I think it’s exactly what the fans want to see.”
VintageComics
“I think we made a mistake relatively early on in trying to introduce a villain and take care of that villain in one episode: catch them, send them to Arkham, do whatever,” McKenzie said. “That was just a mistake. We should’ve never done it.” I said the almost same thing from early on. Each episode seemed rushed and cheap. It's admirable that they are admitting it. Bosco685
GOTHAM: James Frain's 'Theo Galavan' May Actually Be "A Very Famous DC Villain" "Theo Galavan arrives in Gotham as a prodigal son returning. He comes from a very wealthy family with ancient roots in the building and foundation of Gotham. It takes a while for us to understand why he came back to Gotham and what his plan is, but it's an insidious one, obviously. He's a little bit like the Great Gatsby and Dracula coming to town with money and influence and charm and trying to bend to Gotham to serve him." However, it seems Galavan may have an even more sinister agenda at hand. "This season is about how one man will unleash and empower the villains and make them understand that they are more powerful than the people fighting against them," Cannon announced, "They are the pioneers for Gotham. They are the ones who will change things because with chaos and destruction is the only way you can build. You can't rebuild a city without first destroying it." Bosco685
First Look At Michael Chiklis In GOTHAM As 'Captain Nathaniel Barnes' EW has provided us with our first look at Michael Chiklis on FOX's Gotham as Captain 'Nathaniel Barnes', alongside Messrs. Bullock & Gordon in the GCPD precinct. It's probably a familiar setting for the actor who starred in seven seasons of FX's acclaimed crime drama, The Shield. Chiklis will make his debut as Barnes in episode four of the show's second season, which has been titled 'Strike Force' (a homage to his character's team of unethical cops on The Shield).
