Very friendly and passionate. Always willing to help. And I bought a lot from his eBay auctions. Roger was one of the “old guard” and architects of EC fandom. Not many left. Grant had a picture of him as a kid in Gaines’s office in one of his books. Wish I had it handy. Always impressed me how he got in. Hopefully, he is sitting around with a glass of red wine with Bill, Al, Russ, Jerry and the gang of Ghoulantics pouring over ECs and art and swapping stories. Popular Post MrBedrock Posted December 8, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted December 8, 2023 I had heard Roger's name mentioned for many years, had seen him at many shows, had indirectly bought from and sold stuff to him. but had not really met him until an OAF Con about ten years ago. When we finally were properly introduced we spent hours talking and catching up on decades of missed opportunities. He was such a generous soul. My only lament is that I wish the rocket weren't there and the artwork took up the entire cover or at least everything under the title/logo. Man, I really like that artwork.
