I'm craving attention yes, for my book. I'm not a prolific buyer of books, so when I acquire one I want people to know it. I was thinking of announcing it in the NYT, but that was too expensive. But seriously, I make no apologies for doing it, and I'll tell you why.... Take this book for example, HOF #17. It's a pre code purchase. It goes in that thread. It's an 'undead' book. It goes in that thread. It's an EC book. It goes in that thread. etc. etc. See where I'm going? Threads are there for a reason. Use 'em. Once in General “what’s new in collection” again in a gold or silver what’s new thread, then again in a book specific one. Not everyone sees all three. Myself I only look at a couple of threads when I log in. The EC thread is always one off those, I love seeing everyone’s books. As far as WS covers, I got incredibly lucky to get a really nice 9 last year and a 16 the year before. I agree those are both awesome. I agree with the Wood covers on WS. Consistency, the best of the sci fi books. I recently completed my sci fi runs again. Last two I needed were Woodys. ISF #33 and WS #10.
