Back on topic....Will Enormous get as big as Giant Sized Man Thing?

 

I still want the Treasury book. I'm really liking all of the non-superhero books coming out. I love me some tights, but I really got into The Wake, and I'm looking forward to this as well. I hope it continues as an ongoing. I think stories like this can really expand into its own universe. Look at the Halo universe. It's pretty damn in depth and it all started as a game. If this is done right I can see it moving forward for years to come like TWD. I just hope it has staying power and people drop it just because its "not hot".

 

Like I've said before. I'm in this 50% investment, 50% for the stories and art. it's a win win. :whee:

 

I missed this earlier- is it the same story in the treasury book?

 

ill find out come next week when it gets to me.. I picked one up myself before the prices got shot up ... my lcs didnt have it... will report back once i get it and flip through it

My issue came in today. Very well drawn and good pace for a first issue im on the hook for #2 was not able to get it in my subs so will have to hunt for it.

Ugh...as disappointing as Batman vs the Hulk....why not Hulk vs Superman,Batman vs Spiderman....way better fight...although Bats did okay against Hulk considering..

Just received my ebay purchase of the one shot, 1a, 1b, phantom - and it was a total disaster.

 

The seller packed all 4 books on top of each other with the phantom and 1a facing outward, everything between 2 flimsy pieces of cardboard. The one shot has every corner damaged and dents from the comics pressing against it. The books are are pretty dented as well.

 

Contacted the seller, I'm very interested to hear the response.

At this time an unslab-able 1st appearance.

Food for thought on how to dominate marketing and sales.

 

1) Release a one shot.

2) Create pilot based off the one shot knowing a continued series is on it's way.

3) Put together a stellar first issue a little before SDCC. With a buzz worthy low print run.

4) Drop a bomb of news at SDCC.

5) TV series, McFarlane quality toys (Awesome!), etc to follow!

Then theres also the dreaded print run.. Mondo 3 seems to have a lower print run since its also the last issue of that series.. plus the grading bonus and id say its a possible winner..
