See my problem with the Deadpool Taco Truck is my son and I would open the toys and play with them. Thus it would then be worthless.

I don't know if I'd call time spent playing with toys with my kids worthless...

EDIT: And Revat beat me by 19 seconds. :sorry:

Not to take this too much off topic but thought you'd all enjoy this quick story regarding unopened toys. When our son was younger he'd have his "Santa list" and it would inevitably be all these superhero action figures that were either A) long out of print or B) had never been made yet. I couldn't do anything about B but I spent tons of time on ebay looking for A ... And of course since they were coming from Santa I had to buy NIP even though he'd be ripping them open on Christmas morning. And whenever I would say something like "you know..I'm not sure they make that one any more" he'd say "well Santa can get it... He's magic."

Still makes me and the wife laugh (and now our teenager too) how much trouble I went through those years...all the hard work, close calls, last minute triumphs. But it was worth it on Christmas morning when my son would look up at me with a smile on his face and say:

"Isn't SANTA awesome, dad?"

:-)

Oh and yeah, wouldn't trade those memories for anything!

:applause: With a 5 year old soon to be 6 and a 14 month old boy. Christmas mornings are my favorite day of each year. Last year was the TMNT sewer playset. I think this year will be the new TMNT blimp coming out in September.

I love going to Wal Mart with my wife now because me and my son walk up and down the toy aisles. It is a blast. He has a ton of Turtle stuff already. They are turning everything over to the movie stuff and it looks really junky.

Question for Ducky since I'm curious - would you have changed your offer if the rules wouldn't have been changed to allow anyone to grab an offer after 2 days? Or do you feel the offer is good so it is what you are sticking with?

The movie stuff is definitely garbage... I blame Michael Bay. A debate for another thread I am sure. The Nickelodeon stuff is awesome!

What's going on in here? Are people being afraid again?

Do I need to claim something?

Peace,

Chip ;)

I think you would need to wait till sometime this evening.

Mystery box shipping next week. Bought something else as a personal touch to add. Waiting for that to arrive so I can ship everything at once. He'll reveal the contents though when he gets it. ;)

bababooey, why do you still follow and comment in this thread?

Speaking of freebies; having a great day at work so…

Free to the next boardie who claims it and who hasn’t already claimed or received any other freebie(s) in this thread. I’ll cover postage in the CONUS and the first $10 for International.

This is a very cool gesture. I think it's a good sign for the thread that people aren't taking items just to take them. I think the free book is very cool but because its not something I collect I want to leave it available for someone who will truly appreciate it. Looks like others are doing the same. Definitely a good sign for the thread that its not devolving.

I agree. It's a great offer, but I have never read Bedlam so I am just waiting to see who claims it. I'm sure there has to be a Bedlam fan on here. It won't last long.
