Looks like that Krypton prequel isn't dead.

‘Krypton': David S. Goyer Offers Update on Superman Prequel Series

Steve recently sat down with Goyer to discuss the new season of his Starz series Da Vinci’s Demons, and took the opportunity to ask Goyer about the status Krypton. Goyer not only confirmed the series still in development, but offered some insight into the time period and focus of the series. Watch what he had to say below, and scroll through to read his quotes.

"Part of the fun of doing Man of Steel — and I was so insistent on setting that opening on Krypton and really seeing it, was pulling back the curtain. The first draft, the first forty pages were on Krypton, so we compressed that all down to fifteen minutes and there were a lot of ideas that I wanted to use in the film that didn’t ultimately make it into the film."

"In terms of production value, you have to pick your moments. It will definitely, should we make the show there will definitely be some big moments. It won’t be wall to wall visual effects every single moment, spectacle, in the way that the film will be, but we’ll also be digging into the characters and the culture a lot more."

Anyone think the Bats vs SUpes choice and early release had to do with stealing Marvel's planned thunder about their heroes fighting each other?

Didn't the Batman v Superman news about the intended fight come out before any news of Captain America: Civil War?

July 23, 2013 - Zack Snyder announces Batman v Superman

October 29, 2014 - Kevin Feige announces Phase 3 lineup (including Cap 3)

The only thing that seemed silly with the two movies being announced is when Warner decided to drop Batman v Superman's intended box office release on the same day as the pre-announced Cap 3 date. Even after reading some of the thinking here (Warner knew they were going to move it anyway - but put it there as a placeholder), it was not the best planning move.

The two movies should deliver amazing box office numbers. Especially from all the news that has been shared, and the clips released.

Walther PPK to Charlie Brown's melon. Sadly, the reviews of Spectre are lukewarm at best; had hoped Mendes would bring in another along the lines of the solid Skyfall

It was good enough. Probably the weakest of the 4, but that's still better than most.

Not a bad weekend take between two movies.

SPECTRE and Peanuts Combine For More than $100 Million in Big Box Office Weekend

Two of the most beloved franchises in popular culture combined for more than $120 million in box office receipts this weekend, as the latest James Bond film SPECTRE took home $73 million and Peanuts made $45 million in their shared opening frame.

What will be interesting is to see how the films do long-term; SPECTRE scored just 62% on Rotten Tomatoes but earned an A- CinemaScore from audiences. Peanuts is Certified Fresh at 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, and scored an A from audiences.

Hunger Games Finale Projected for $300 Million Global Debut

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 hits theaters tonight (officially, tomorrow), and projected estimates say it should be a huge global debut. It's easy enough to look at the 4,175 domestic screens and 33,000 foreign ones and understand that yes, this movie will be big.

Current estimates as reported by Variety are saying as much as $125 million from the U.S., with another $175 million from other territories. The 33,000 screens is the largest launch of 2015 and the biggest ever for Lionsgate as a studio. The simultaneous release in the U.S., U.K., and China is especially significant. The number of screens for the finale almost double the 17,963 for the first part of the final book's adaptation.

I need these as gaming playmats.

You could take these to a Kinkos. Have them print on high-grade paper and then seal in lamination sheets.

I just might send the pictures to here - http://www.nestedegg.com/?page_id=22

Please post pictures when completed. I'd love to see if this was worth it.

Rumors On Possible Teen Titans Movie

JoBlo claims that a Teen Titans film is being considered by WB and instead of making a Cyborg (will be portrayed by Ray Fisher) solo film, which is scheduled for a 2020 release, the studio would combine the two into one film. Not sure if this make a lot of sense since a Teen Titans live-action television series is still in development at TNT.
