I wanna catch Exodus and Testament next time they come around!

I may have mis-judged you

Death Angel, Testament and Anthrax. I took my 2 teenage sons

Anthrax was great, but the pit was a little too much for me

Nothing could have been bigger the the 1981 Iron Maiden Judas Priest tour.now that's a concert only rivaled by maybe Metallica Guns n Roses tour

For pure metal, I agree but I saw some legendary shows. Priest on the Screaming for Vengeance tour. Queensryche opening for Kiss. Ted Nugent opening for Aerosmith. Saxon for ZZ Top. The AC/DC For Those About to Rock tour which was the first time they let loose with the cannons. Blew my freaking eardrums out. lol

Heck, I saw Tesla and the Kix in a Baltimore bar ((Hammerjacks) when I was in the Army. Saw Akita Ford there too. I'm leaving out a ton but the 80s were awesome. The last concert I went to was Black Stone Cherry/Hinder/ThreeDays Grace/Staind. Next 1 is Priest some 30 years later lol

There was a huge outdoor show in Barry Ontario I went to in I think 1993?

Danzig,Suicidal Tenancies and Metallica......just NUTS.the Hammerskins ruined the pit though...Nazi Skinhead beasts..

G & R's opening for Aerosmith at the Fairgrounds in Sacto, circa 1988. My 6'6" 330 lb roommate had 4 busted ribs in the mosh pit. What a wimp. doh! I must have been saved wearing my batman shirt. :headbang:

G-N-R in 1988 - Perfect timing. Lucky you

saw anthrax once, had a blast. The pit was not ready for me. I don't go to many metal shows, mostly hardcore, and those pits get UGLY. None of that slam dancing stuff.
