I'm a raw mid-grade run collector. I've been working on an Amazing Spider-man run since I started back collecting a few years ago so these are probably my most expensive books:

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have probably a mid grade ASM 300, undecided if I want it graded, heck I'm not even certain on the condition....I think I may post it to the Sapre a Grade section, who knows. Curious to see what condition would warrant getting it graded.

The mid grade raws seem to get pretty decent money. I'd think it would have to be in the 9s to make it worth grading if we are talking re-sale value only. I don't have any data points to back that up, just a passing observation

I'd have a harder time picking 3 out of my collection for that one than I would my 3 best comics since I'd have so many to choose from!

I would mention Bats 222 as well, but this book seemed to have tanked recently as more and more people figure out just how silly it is.

 

 

Same for Brave and the Bold 85

Some really amazing books in this thread. I always wondered who had the Rocky Mountain Batman 227. I eventually picked up a non-pedigree 9.4 but it would have been cool to have that one.

 

Marvel Comics 1, Action 252 in 9.2? Just wow...

 

I can only imagine what would have been posted had this thread been started in the Gold section.
