Thought I'd share a couple of new children in the Bunky Family,

Fresh from HA and Chuck himself,

(thumbs u Nice bright yellow cover!

This copy has some wear, but doesn't have the pencil slashes I've seen on other 2nd hand copies. Do you believe this was an Edgar newstand purchase that just got worn over the years or a true 2nd hand copy?

Just curious if Edgar might've been using multiple back issue shops to complete his runs.

Great pick-ups.

Usually, the second hand books had "double slash" pencil on the cover.

For what it is worth here is its distant cousin from Mr. Larson

Wow, two pedigree copies!

My exposure to Church copies is very limited. Had only seen the "double slash" 2nd hand copies. After an Internet search seems there's a few variations, including 2nd hand copies with a "6" or "7" cent price in pencil (probably a discussion for a Church thread, not a Centaur thread)!

OK, back to the "Comics Magazine" thread - how about another yellow cover?

Two real nice pickups! (thumbs u

Still, I am left with the question......why would Chuck hang onto these 2 books and yet not bother keeping the Detective Picture Stories #1, Amazing Man #5, etc. or even obvious keepers such as Action #1 or 'Tec #27 instead?
