panhandlefool
I believe the "Good Neighbors" story was in a recent Gemstone reprint - I pick up the 2 regular comics and 2 deluxe-sized ones they put out monthly. Is that where you are getting your scans? Edited May 15, 2005 by panhandlefool
Scrooge
I believe the "Good Neighbors" story was in a recent Gemstone reprint - I pick up the 2 regular comics and 2 deluxe-sized ones they put out monthly. Is that where you are getting your scans? Right now I am scanning from the Gladstone Carl Barks Library of WDCS but I don't have them all so at some point I'll have to start scanning reprints from other sources. Scrooge
from WDCS 39 - December 1943 HDL sends for some products to sell and DD is determined to show his natural abilities for sales and in the process reminds us that his middle name probably is Persistent (bone-headed persistence but persistence nonetheless) Hey Bonds, how about sharing some sweet Rosa's? Scrooge
from WDCS 42 - March 1944 Jumping forward as ft88 took care of the stories in WCDS 40 and 41, we experience a cross-dressing DD in this story who wants to show up HDL disguising himself as a girl and being better at flying a kite than they are. I like the nephews expressions in the first panel second tier

panhandlefool
Nice holiday books. I think once I tried to get a holiday-themed "Show us your..." thread, but it went absolutely nowhere. We should try again this year, maybe just after Thanksgiving.

hobbes
I have a question for any Duck collector: There was an animted short called Donalds Snow Fight. Is this the same as the "Snow Fort" story in WDC&S #582?
tth2
Sweet book! Love that cover! Overstreet should note it as a cross-over cover, rather than simply being a 7 Dwarves cover.
october
Great looking book! I like the tastefully placed name stamp in the top right corner. Looks like there were some anal collectors even as far back as 1944. I was thinking of bidding on this book, since the cover is an all-time classic and the price was right, but I decided to hold off until I could afford a 6.0 or better copy.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...me=STRK:MEWA:IT
