Moondog
I am starting to doubt whether even the books that I always heard were "impossible" in high grade really are rare enough to justify prices of 10-30 x guide for 9.4 up. I had never seen any issue of WDCS 1-22 for sale in strict NM until 6 months ago, but since then there have been 5. Totally agree with you. I don't think we'll see the number of multiple ultra-HG copies that we've seen from the Harvey files or Gaines files, but my guess is that more copies exist than previously thought. Maybe with the strengthening of the USD and the increase of supply, the multiples might moderate a bit, because they've been really whacky for the past couple of years. As long as CGC doesn't care about page quality (lots of those Dells are VERY brown) when it gives a numerical grade, there will be MANY high grades. I know for sure that at least some of the people at CGC know several "hoarders". They probably know what you are talking about if you mention "NJ" in this context. Bonds25
As promised, here is a checklist of the twelve Scrooge 60th anniversary posters by Don Rosa. I hope it is useful, but I had fun compiling it anyway. 383 – I just realised I haven’t picked this up from my LCS yet! TBA… It's called "Sixty-One Christmases with Uncle Scrooge" - here is the pic:

I paid over a week ago and haven't heard from him. As a matter of fact I haven't. I won the auction on 12/23. Hopefully it will be in this week. AJD
I think this one might have been omitted from the Don Rosa index: Title: Back in Time for a Dime! Year: 1990 Book: DuckTales Magazine, Spring 1990 Publisher: Disney This was reprinted in a relatively recent Uncle Scrooge. Don't go to too much effort to find it. It's a horrible 4 page story that was scripted by Rosa and drawn by someone else (Cosme Cortieri from Diaz studios). Apologies if this was already noted. shiverbones
one of my faves, and the art is fabulous, even by Barks standards.
tb
Likewise. This story has a very clever and timeless poke at lawyers - you can just tell how Barks must have been venting frustration over his divorce right at this time. Besides, this was the first US comic I ever bought as a collector.
Scrooge
Thanks everyone. I feel the love. (thumbs u The Golden Helmet has one of my most favoritest Barks panel, admittedly inspired by a Foster Prince Valiant panel that ran in the newspaper on Oct. 7, 1951. Golden Helmet is dated July-August 1952. Here are the 2 panels next to each other. Blowing up the Barks panel, I think this is the first time I really notice the puffins!! P.S.: The coloring in the original is much better than the Gladstone DDA reprints
