I'm not every sure the variant is worth it, the market is still flooded and it can be had right now for under 4 bucks. It's too bad though, the story is pretty good.

 

I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this book but there's a trailer out now and only these auctions are left on Ebay. I have not read the book or seen the trailer though. Any thoughts?

Interesting, had not heard about it. Is there a way to tell if there is more than one printing? It can still be had on discount trade sites.

Not sure this will see too much spec. wise though. I think it would have to be a pretty good movie and the gn looked more at like a book. Vince Vaughn isn't really known for superb movies, anymore at least.

DCBS is selling the Gwenpool 1:50 for $50...bit too pricey without seeing if there's bends or other problems.

 

Sounds like you never have ordered from DCBS. Every book I have gotten from them is NM. Not always NM+/MINT but sometimes yes.

Agreed. I've been 99% happy with DCBS over the past several years, but a few of my $50+ variants have come back with some defects. Most of the time they're unavoidable, like printing creases (which shouldn't affect the grade anyhow, theoretically), but I had one with some crazy scuffing on the spine that was just terrible.

 

That said ... I still buy from 'em. They're good more often than not, but I agree that $50 is a lot to spend without looking at it.

 

Speaking of 1:50 variants, are we sick and tired of the Harley Quinn holiday variants? The Jim Lee 1:50 BW variant of HQ April Fools is $50 on DCBS ... just took it off my list though looking through the eBay auctions for the Halloween ComicFest (which I know isn't a "real" holiday variant), Valentine's Day, SDCC, etc. etc.

 

I have the same problem with Gwenpool, really, but what with the Deadpool movie selling like hotcakes, I assume she'll be here to stay. Hey, who's to say Emma Stone won't show up as Gwenpool in Deadpool 2? ;)
