I try to give you guys an early start, so here it is. Guardians 2 is in the works. While STAR-LORD has had a previous origin, they give him an updated one in Star-Lord #1-5 for the new Marvel Earth Prime universe. 1st Appearance of a Michael Rooker like Yondu as well. Highly recommend it for a read as well as a collecting standpoint.

Only issues #1-3 have 1:25 variants as a max retailer variant ratio. 4 and 5 only have a regular cover. #1 is cameo of Prime Yondu, #2 is 1st full.

Anyone have a appearance list of Duke Thomas...is Batman 21 the true 1st or B&R Futures End.

It's Batman # 21

would We Are Robin 1 variant be considered the 1st appearance of him in a Robin costume....not sure that costume will be the one he wears later on.

No, this issue will be the 1st real appearance. We are Robin is more a group of "Robins".

At least that's what I've been told when I tried to make that same argument.

I still say Harrow County #1 is a good one to pick up, it is about $12-$18 on eBay now for a first printing of the first issue but if the television series is a faithful adaptation it will bring many new fans wanting to pick up the earlier issues.

The show is supposed to be on Syfy which is owned by NBC / Comcast and given their track record with Revival, Sixth Gun and Clone I wouldn't bank too much on it actually happening.

You'd think Bunn would have learned his lesson after SG and hung up the phone when the ComcastNBCUniversal execs called

Well people tend to go overboard when speculating on 1st appearances of costumes on covers...it could be a 3rd printing and he doesn't even have to be inside the comic for the value to go up. Guess we'll see when Batman 50 comes out.

Hello

I was looking over my local retailers list of new books this week and saw something

different. I looked it up online and it seems interesting. I mean I am a sucker for first issues, but does this one have potential to get hot?

Their kickstarter says only 1440 copies were ordered, that's really low, right?

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ohhellcomics/oh-hell-an-original-graphic-novel/posts/1487543

1,440 is low for a Marvel or DC comic, but not unheard of for an independent. I bet if you look around on Kickstarter there are plenty of self published comics that are 1,000 or less.

Also, just because it's a low print, it doesn't mean there is associated value. There are other factors you have to consider as well.

Makes sense and thanks for the reply!

Dark Matter and Wynonna Earp got optioned for full seasons. The former doesn't have a large increase in price. The latter is soon to air.

Matt Fraction and Kelly S.D. got a substantial amount of money to help produce. There's got to be a book to come to fruition there. hm

So then there's nothing new in #50 for robin?

On Duke Thomas we just have his first appearance in Batman Vol 2 # 21 so far.
