Picked up a nice vintage Joe collection yesterday via FB Marketplace and only had to drive 6 hours through an intermittent torrential downpour to do it. Lol. Totally worth it given the price I paid, though!

Excited that McFarlane is bringing some different stuff to market - from Captain Carrot and Ambush Bug to now this Jonah Hex/General set. Was an instant pre-order for me.

Nice!  Makes me miss my Lone Ranger with Silver when I was a kid.

I think they had to include that disclaimer because it comes with guns - they say it's for 17+. Normally DC stopped letting its action figures include guns.

Picked up a nice Kenner MASK collection that has several rare pieces. I'm thinking of investing the extra money to complete those before selling them. I think it would be worth it. Most of them need a little cleaning, as well...definitely loved by a cool kid at some point. 😊

MASK was a really cool toy line.  I had a couple of them as a kid, but surprised I didn't collect them more back in the day.  Great pickups!

Very interesting.  We were having this conversation last year as all of the Hasbro overflow was hitting discount stores.  I do not have any stores like Ross near me, so I could only play on the sidelines as we watched GI Joe Classified figures sell for $5-10 each.  Blowouts on overstocked Marvel Legends and those crazy Hasbro Pulse sales giving people 35% off. 

It looks like those days are over as Hasbro definitely scaled back their production on items almost treating regular product like limited editions or second rate Haslabs.

GI Joe Classified Vamps sold out. 

Star Wars E Wing Fighters sold out. 

Jabba sold out but is back in stock... but for how long.

It will be interesting to see if 2025 is an even tighter by the numbers production year for Hasbro given the state of the company right now from a financial standpoint.

McFarlane launched a Kickstarter for Medieval Spawn action figure reboot/remaster. $83 per fig shipped in US, just not sure, money tree goes brrr
Combo shipping in MULTS of 3 pcs only. I paid $80 plus $25 shipping for the blue/black versions of the first Spawn remaster. It was during covid and a fun splurge. 

Part of me can justify it for the comic books, however I'm finding $80+/fig a price of high resistance. Not sure! Wow me, Toddfather

I recieved a package from my American friend, with some great stuff, including the Mezco One:12 Collective Cockrum Cyclops (on sale from BBTS from $100US down to 50), and I like it a lot more in-hand than I did in pics. And it's my favourite Cyclops costume, bonus. 

I also got 3 of the old Skybound figures from Invincible. I won a cheap auction of the exact 3 I wanted : Invincible in both main costumes, and Atom Eve in her regular look. I got lucky and got pretty good paint too, on all 3. Very lucky. It's just a shame they're so small. They're supposedly 5 inch scale, but they seem even smaller than that. 

There was other stuff too, including some comics, but that's the best stuff figure-wise, IMO.

Preordered the McFarlane Venom statue and won the EQL raffle for the McFarlane Cyborg Superman Platinum Edition.

Won an auction that included all these Kenner prototypes (and one Hasbro). Hardcopies (everything blue), test shots (multicolored), one quality control sample (the complete Batman Forever Robin) and one internal paint master (the Superman). The Street Fighter Guile seems to be a "pitch sculpt" from Kenner to try and get the license in the 90s, which was never granted. Someone else must have realized what the auction was because I got bid up heavily in the last 30 seconds.

Just curious, where are auctions usually found that include prototypes like these? I've seen them posted here a few times, but I don't think I've ever seen them for sale in any of the auction sites I usually follow (I just may be missing them).

Nowhere. Also, I do a *tremendous* amount of searching through every local auction house in the entire country (online or not) looking for everything and anything collectible. I mean hours and hours, like obsessively.

These weren't labeled as prototypes but because I look through every single listing of every type of collectible sometimes I stumble upon something special.

Got some CTG Brands planes and was told they are from the 80's.  There is no date on them but the person that sold them to me I trust and he stated that it came out of a collection of 80's items.  Ended up getting 11 of them with a f16 of some other brand.  Tried researching them but can't find any info on them or a year checklist because I know there was other planes as well unless it was an other brand.  I recall when I was a kid the one blue plane that had the two propellers and the one with two fuselages.  Maybe that was an other brand.

There was one strange thing though and that was #7.  On the back of all of them and even the #7 Grumman F6F Hellcat which I have shown they all have the same 12 pictured but in the checklist it says #7 is the Supermarine Spitfire MK II.  I am also not surprised the Spitfires MK I was missing as well since as a kid the Spitfires and the Mustang where a favourite amongst the kids I hung out with.  To note they all have the same item number of #07710.

If anyone has more information on these it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyways grab these because of nostalgia and that we think they are the originals from the 80's. 

Edit:  So far found out they are from a Canadian import company that was  established in 1985.  The #7 was different for the Canadian release for an unknown reason.  So I am just missing the #11 to have the complete set.  Very cool find.
