I was fortunate that a comic shop owner processed end of the alphabet boxes. Mainly indie but luckily I have deep knowledge. Also got some tough books at an estate sale cheaply priced

Some pretty nice books there. I find that Near Mint 24 interesting. I've never had a copy myself, but I thought they were on a cream-gray-ish cardstock cover. Not that it's surprising that a fanzine would have more than one cover stock option, really. Looks good on that orange, tbh.

I'm pretty sure my copy is how you describe. I will have to dig it out...

That Lobo issue!!!   It's renowned as difficult to find, well done, you've got some good knowledge there.

Yeah that’s a keeper! I’ve seen it on a white cover. If I was to describe the cover material I’d say it’s akin to construction paper like material

Finds from a library comic sale. Nice conditions too!

I'll confess that I never really followed the Digital Webbing stuff. Are they still around? Regardless, that 2004 Hack/Slash is a fantastic find, and absolutely a "book you just can't find in the wild."

Its very tough and very hard in high grade. The cover seems to collect spine tics. Those Suicide Girls Annuals are really tough to find as well. One cover version only shows up around once a year on ebay.

These are the issues you want for Digital Webbing Presents 1, 2, 5, 21, 24. … I think they’re lost to history but very htf. First time finding and owning either

I'm a huge sucker for reeeaaally obscure modern promotional books. Pretty excited to finally add this one to the collection:

Most copies were distributed via a series of 2012 Nestle promotional events where the Quik Bunny appeared (in costumed mascot form) at various Walmarts to promote the namesake product and hand out copies of this book.

Zero clue how many of these were handed out, but it's by a large margin the rarest of the three Quik Bunny titles (the other two are 1984's Adventures of Quik Bunny in partnership with Marvel, and the exceedingly common 1987 Superman Meets the Quik Bunny obviously also from DC).

What’s the value?

This makes me miss Nestle's Quik...I assume it was a legal issue but the change to Nesquick never sat well with me.

That's the way I remember the name, and the powder is good with vanilla ice cream. I never bought it often, and really, I didn't realize it had past away or by.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There is not exactly, shall we say, any meaningful record of sales of this thing. MCS has never had a copy. MH has never had a copy. NewKadia doesn't list it. The GCD doesn't have an entry for it.

EDIT: CBR thinks it's worth one dolla, but I'd view that more as an example of how CBR didn't work to crowdsource FMV rather than anything about this book in particular. I am aware that there's one of these still available on eBay; that listing is, to my knowledge, the only eBay listing there's ever been for the book. Does that make it worth $1, ~$40 dollars, something in between, or more than that? Low demand for this sort of thing tends to keep prices really low until or unless a wider group of collectors suddenly decides to care, and then prices zoom to the moon as the realization that copies just aren't available sets in. Not that I expect that here, unless Quicky the Quik Bunny joins the DCEU or something.

It is Nesquik now...they still make it but I never bought it after the name change.

I felt it was mentioned recently, I did look for it, but wasn't easy to find. Well the powder was hard to find, the watered chocolate drinks I found easy lol

And thanks. :)
