Just watched the Xmas ‘Special’.

I approached it from a car crash perspective, counting the number of times the writer would introduce ‘correctness factors’, but gave up after about 30-or-so minutes as it became a painful exercise in masochism.

Plagiaristic and dull.

Some good bits, some bad bits, but nothing to really stir the emotions for me. A lot of shiny shiny though. And he's sticking with the timeless child thing, it seems. I think I'm out now.

While season 2 and 3 are the ones I’m looking forward to, Horror of Fang Rock is one of my favorite stories (I know I’m in the minority on this) and and like Image of the Fendahl quite a bit too as it’s kind of the last hoorah for Baker gothic.
